Sales Executive (Account Manager) – Oriental Foods

A leading supplier of oriental foods in the UK is seeking an English-speaking Sales Executive, ideally with some knowledge of Japanese or Asian food products.

The company has an excellent client base and delivers to customers throughout the UK and continues to work hard to encourage the UK market to continue opening-up to foods from the Far East.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Executive who will be able to quickly learn about their food products and to be able to advise and sell to customers such as Asian food retailers, wholesalers & distributors.

Having a passion for food and prior experience in the industry is essential.
Applicants MUST have a current and valid full UK driver’s licence in order to visit clients. A car will be provided.

The company is unable to sponsor visas, so applicants must hold either ILR / Permanent Residency, or hold a UK/EU passport.


CORE DUTIES
• Utilise, review and update the client database
• Provide support and reassurance to customers
• Analyse sales data
• Increase the company’s sales profits
• Provide strategies and estimates for the company
• Prepare and distribute information from the company to clients
• Respond to client communications or queries and resolve any client issues
• Network with business partners and or distributors
• Provide good quality control
• Manage inventory


IDEAL APPLICANT
• Fluent, business-level English (written & spoken)
• Passion for Oriental foods
• B2B sales experience in the wholesale/foodservice food industry
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Strong Excel & MS Office skills
